The opening in the straw rips easily and causes it to leak

I was super excited about these cups after reading the description and other reviews, but they are horrible. Probably some of the worst we've tried. Both my 1 and almost 3 year old have tried them on multiple occasions and end up with their drink everywhere. They are definitely not leak or spill proof. The drink leaks out of the middle seal and the straw itself. Note: I did readjust the installation after being contacted about them being installed improperly when they were shipped. This has not seemed to help with the leaking. I'm extremely disappointed.
I have never seen and or used baby bottles like this before. I really liked the over all look and feel of these bottles. Easy to fill clean and store away. Our son took to them fine with no problem.
